Historical notes
The Japanese lighter research project profiles Robin as a postwar Sarome model. Sarome’s own historic model archive states production from 1951 through 1955 and describes large and small versions. The larger version was produced first, with older examples sometimes engraved with a year rather than the word ROBIN.
