Historical notes
The Golden Age manuscript and Austrian lighter research identify the IMCO Triplex as an interwar Austrian petrol-lighter family. The IMCO company catalog describes the Triplex introduction in 1936 and the semi-automatic action associated with opening the cap. Later Triplex versions changed in detail; an introduction year for the family is not a production date for every specimen.
